Last First Kiss

The wind was singing its song that day,
By the hillside I stood watching,
Like a King reigning over his land,
With his loyal subjects to his aid,

A ruler of wisdom and supremacy,
His stronghold extends to the heavens,
He brings wealth and peace to his people,
But his feelings were never comprehended,

The terror howls on a silent night,
Forest burnt, the enemy strikes merciless,
The frozen throne was robbed away,
To the wicked conquerer the people cried,

All was lost within a wink,
I woke up in a lost cottage,
With my weapons striped off,
You appeared by my side, smiling,

The firewoods kept me warm,
The bowls of bitterness kept me alive,
Each day you would tell me tales,
Your tender care kept me safe,

My rage, calmed by your words,
It was you at the end of the tunnel,
A reason me a reason to march on,
I knew a different fight has begun,

Lets run this race of a lifetime,
Together till the sun disappears,
I'll not let loose of your hands,
We'll be living for a new dawn,

My arms, will forever warp around you,
Since the day I met you love,
It has always been part of our destiny,
Giving up a kingdom to be your last first kiss.
